Berzeck：My name is Mario, from Bolivia, but everyone calls me Berzeck. I have 20 years of experience in software engineering and I am working for NULS ?NTC ?since late 2018.

Berzeck：Nerve is a decentralized digital asset service network, which is a set of cross-chain interactive protocols based on the NULS microservices framework and developed with ChainBox. The goal is to eliminate the isolation problem that most blockchains have, also, to establish a cross-chain interoperable asset interaction network, and provide all the underlying support for Defi applications ecosystem; letting digital asset holders enjoy truly secure, free and transparent Defi application services.

Berzeck：Ok, thank you.Recently, be it technology, business, or ecology, NerveNetwork has made remarkable achievements: Imagination Fund, TB Capital, BitZ, and XStarPool announced they made strategic investment with NerveNetwork; There are also many exchanges that have announced or are planning to list NVT futures trading. 主持人贺源Gaga：公测中的NerveNetwork目前有哪些应用呢？What are the current applications for NerveNetwork in beta?

Berzeck：NerveNetwork six major solutions:

1. Heterogeneous cross-chain, managing cross-chain assets on the underlying chain of 15 virtual bank nodes;

2. It can be as lightning network of BTC, ETH, ERC20 within 2 seconds confirming the transactions and with almost 0 service fee.

3. NerveDEX adopts the asset matching protocol on the underlying chain to realize the transparent transaction of multi-chain assets;

4. Cross-chain mainstream assets, such as BTC, ETH, USDT, etc., can use NULS VM to implement various Defi and DApp applications;

5. Docking a chain to achieve multi-chain asset chain management, providing services for small exchanges, wallets, DApps, etc.

6. It supports Cross-chain staking, the assets of BTC, ETH, NULS? can participate in staking in the NerveNetwork to get NVT as rewards.

请问Berzeck，Nerve为什么选择NULS公链生态，并在跨链交互上进行搭建，而没有选择其他公链生态呢？Why does Nerve aim at NULS public chain ecology and build cross chain transactions，but without other public chain ecology？

Berzeck：Nerve is designed to complement NULS blockchain, its design is a lot simpler than other cross-chain solutions because it doesn’t try to interconnect everything with everything and also doesn’t try to incorporate all possible features, for example, smart contracts are implemented in NULS and this functionality is not replicated in Nerve because it will use this functionality from NULS.

Berzeck：No matter what technology your blockchain has now, if it doesn't have the ability to adapt to newer technologies your blockchain is destined to be deprecated, that's probably the only constant in technology, especially in crypto!

Berzeck：In this regard Nerve (and NULS) were designed from scratch with the ability to evolve and adapt faster than other crypto platforms using fewer resources thanks to its microservices infrastructure.

Berzeck：Let me put it this way, if Vitalik finds the ultimate scalability solution, while he is receiving the Turing award, we will pack the solution in a microservice and deploy it to our customers months before Ethereum, so blockchains connected to Nerve will be able to enjoy this kind of progress.

Berzeck：In some way, it's like projects investing huge amounts of resources researching are effectively working for us.

Berzeck：For example, as you can see in the screenshot, Nerve uses NULS's 11 basic modules completely unchanged even at the binary level, which reduced most of the development effort. We just needed to develop a new Consensus module (POC+BFT), a protocol conversion module, and the node feed module.

Berzeck：Through the NerveNetwork cross-chain interaction protocol, only a small amount of development effort is required through using a standard interface to transform blockchains with different structures into a set of common asset types that can be recognized by cross-chain modules in the NULS ecosystem. This facilitates and enables a direct interaction between assets inside and outside of the NULS ecosystem, it also provides rich Defi usage scenarios for mainstream digital assets such as BTC and ETH.

Berzeck：At a simplified level, NerveNetwork's cross-chain interaction has two parts:

(1) NULS cross-chain ecological docking: Based on the universal NULS cross-chain protocol, all blockchain interactions in the NULS ecosystem will be realized.

(2) For independent public chains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance Chain, NerveNetwork defines a set of interface protocols that can facilitate the interaction with these various blockchains.

Berzeck：Taking BTC as an example, the cross-chain interaction process is as follows:

主持人贺源Gaga：Nerve采用什么共识机制？它与其他跨链项目有什么区别或优势呢？What consensus mechanisms does Nerve use?What is the difference or advantage between it and other cross-chain projects?

Berzeck：Nerve adopts POCBFT, a consensus mechanism for independent innovation.

POC refers to Proof of Credit, this is the consensus mechanism used by NULS and BFT refers to Byzantine fault tolerance.

译文：Nerve采用的是自主创新的共识机制POCBFT。POC指的是Proof of Credit，是信用共识机制的简称，是NULS创新使用的共识机制。BFT指的是拜占庭容错。

顾名思义，POCBFT是Nerve开发团队将POC和BFT结合之后的产物。

Berzeck：POC is a DPoS derived consensus mechanism that is very efficient, also it has an embedded mechanism to punish bad behaving nodes, and, of course, it allows all token holders to participate in staking and earn rewards.

译文：POC是DPOS衍生的共识机制，可以实现轮流出块，做到公平高效，它还有一个嵌入式机制来惩罚行为不端的节点。同时，也可以让所有持币人参与Staking，赚取共识激励。

Berzeck：BFT was added to the Tendermint consensus mechanism adopted by another well-known cross-chain project: Cosmos. Its performance is about 6 ~ 8 seconds while Nerve will likely reach a block speed of about 1 ~ 3 seconds.

Berzeck：It can be seen that the combination of POC and BFT not only allows Nerve to inherit the advantages of the NULS POC consensus mechanism, but also allows Nerve to have an excellent performance.

Berzeck：NVT’s maximum supply is 2.1 billion, with an initial circulation of 1.1 billion (1 billion will be generated by consensus nodes and virtual banks).

主持人贺源Gaga：NVT的代币经济、代币分配模型具体是什么样的呢？So what is the economic model of the NVT?

Berzeck：Let's begin with the intial distribution,we use it for early development .It's used for community construction in the early stage,as well as the recruitment of virtual banks. We will ?also airdrop 10 million NVT ?to NULS holders on 12nd,July.Besides,300 million NVT will be used for cornerstone investment,we are seeking for more institutions and partners.The last part with an amount of 600 million NVT is used for Foundation,200 million of them will permanently stake in virtual bank nodes.And 400 million are gradually unlocked monthly one year later after the mainnet launch in 20 months.More details can be found in the chart.

Berzeck：Nerve’s main network nodes are divided into three types: ordinary nodes, consensus nodes, and virtual bank.

译文：Nerve的主网节点分为三种类型：普通节点，共识节点，虚拟银行。

Berzeck：The ordinary nodes are responsible for functions such as transaction collecting, block and transaction verifying, and providing services for applications.Ordinary nodes will allocate consensus incentives based on the proportion of pledged assets in the pledged assets of the entire network.

Berzeck：The virtual bank is responsible for the maintenance of cross-chain assets, including the creation and management of multi-signature accounts or smart contracts for parallel chains, the creation and broadcasting of asset transfer transactions, etc.The virtual bank is selected from the consensus nodes, and the default is the top 15 consensus nodes with the largest deposit The weight of the virtual bank’s reward is twice that of the consensus node.

Berzeck：If the number of asset pledges on your node can be ranked in the top 35 of the entire network, you can become a consensus node.

At the moment,NVT will be used in four aspects.

Gas burning:paying for cross chain settlements and handling fees for transactions;

Governence tool: voting rights for Nerve ;

DEX:repurchase and destroy the transaction fees of the decentralized exchange;destroy the fees for creating transactions pairs in the decentralized exchange;destroy the fees for creating assets in the decentralized exchange;

Node:deposit for creating nodes.

Berzeck：Sure!We've got NDEX open;

In the near future， we plan to invite top platforms and institutions in the industry to serve as bank nodes.

Berzeck：July 2020：Nerve's main-net will be released
