现在《失控》中对于区块链技术也有预测，分布式、去中心和自组织。分布式存储我个人认为也是最核心的，这种存储方式不同于目前中心化存储方式，提倡的是高度的自主存储，每个参与者手中都可以建立账簿，大家账簿都是一样的，而且这个账簿随着时间在不断的更新，几乎不可篡改；所谓的去中心化矛头指向中心化节点的弊端，第三方机构目前的盈利份额太高，例如微信的广告和大量的用户隐私数据等等，这些本应该属于用户，所以提出去中心化很有观点；自组织，这种模式是自发性的，就像公有链中，节点的治理需要自下而上，每个参与者都愿意参与到治理中，当然有劳动有token激励。
